Solar Thermal Solutions
Solar Water HeatingHot water, zero fuel cost.
Solar water heating systems use sunlight to heat water directly, cutting 60 to 80% of your water heating bill from day one. No panels, no inverters, no complexity.

What it is
How it works.
Solar water heating (SWH) systems use rooftop collectors to capture heat from sunlight and transfer it directly to stored water. Unlike solar PV, there are no panels generating electricity. The system works purely on thermal principles and has very few moving parts.
Three technology options are available. Flat-plate collectors (FPC) are the most common for residential use. Evacuated tube collectors (ETC) perform better in partial shade and colder weather. Solar-assisted heat pumps (SAHP) are ideal for large commercial applications and work efficiently even on cloudy days.
A well-sized system delivers 80 to 100 litres of hot water per person per day at 60°C, year-round, using only sunlight. Payback is typically 2 to 3 years.
Key specs
- 100 LPD to 10,000 LPD capacity (residential to commercial)
- FPC, ETC, or solar heat pump (SAHP) technology options
- Stainless steel insulated storage tank (SS 304)
- Electric backup heater integrated for cloudy days
- MNRE-approved systems, subsidy eligible under relevant schemes
Who it's for
Anyone paying for hot water.
Homes and apartments
Families spending ₹500 to ₹2,000 per month on electric geysers. A 200 LPD system wipes out that cost entirely.
Hotels and hostels
High-volume hot water users with large geyser bills. A 2,000 to 5,000 LPD system can save ₹15,000 to ₹40,000 per month.
Hospitals and clinics
Healthcare facilities with constant hot water demand for sterilisation, laundry, and patient care. Large SAHP systems provide reliable supply 24/7.
